LITTLE MEN — Coming Spring 2027

Bridge Eight Press to publish Carolyn Abram’s debut novel

Bridge Eight Press is excited to announce that we’ve acquired Little Men by Carolyn Abram and will be publishing the novel in the Spring of 2027.

Drawing from Abram’s time from working at Facebook, Little Men takes place in near-future Silicon Valley, where the hottest robotics start-up this side of Sand Hill Road is going to change the world with the Little Man—a miniature robot and A.I. companion. We follow Al and her fellow engineers as they try to ship a new product before they either run out of money or tear themselves apart vying for attention from Kim, the newest employee with a pivotal role. Meanwhile, the Little Men themselves have their own take on this make-it-or-break-it year.

Carolyn Abram is a Seattle-based writer, editor, and teacher whose work focuses on the intersection of technology and everyday life. Her fiction has been nominated for Best of the Net awards, as well as shortlisted for Uncharted Magazine’s Novel Excerpt prize. Her nonfiction has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review, Business Insider, and McSweeney’s Internet tendency. She is the author of all eight editions of Facebook for Dummies and was one of Facebook’s first 100 employees. She holds degrees from Stanford and California College of the Arts. She is currently a guest editor for The Citron Review and teaches writing classes at Seattle’s Hugo House.
