Bridge Eight Press to publish Nathan Holic’s new collection of stories and comics
Bridge Eight Press is excited to announce that we’ve acquired Florida Gothic by Nathan Holic and will be publishing the story collection in the Fall of 2027.
Florida Gothic is is a surreal collection of stories and comics set in and around a fictional town on the Gulf Coast of Florida, where darkness infects even the best of us.
Nathan Holic is the author of Bright Lights, Medium-Sized City, a not-so-medium-sized novel from Burrow Press. He is also the author of The Things I Don’t See (Main Street Rag) and American Fraternity Man (Beating Windward Press), and is the Graphic Narrative Editor at The Florida Review. His traditional-text fiction has appeared in The Portland Review, Iron Horse, and The Apalachee Review, and his comics have appeared in Booth, Saw Palm, and Nashville Review.
If you’re interested in receiving an advanced reading copy of Florida Gothic, send an email to editor@bridgeeight.com and include your name, organization, and how you intend to promote the book.
